From "On Paradigm of Metaeconomics: Essence and Sense":

The study is devoted to metaeconomics as a systemic metatheoretical construct generalizing methodological approaches in the economic sciences and researches. The means used in the study are mostly intellectual generalizations based on the study of economic constructs both existing and hypothetical oriented to future tasks under globalization and informatics technologies. In this context metaeconomics determines the general and specific principles and criteria of economic sciences, the order of their subordination and their distinction from other social sciences, interrelations with management, sociology, politology, psychology, and demography and etc. Metaeconomics conceptualizes the main epistemological and ontological positions (approaches) to the relation between the economic activity and its researches. Some metaeconomic approaches are specified, in particular, interpreting social preferences within the economic activity.
